Each employer branding event must be a memorable experience and it must send to people the message that they come first. With this in mind, we started to plan together with our client, an annual gala for over 1000 participants.
Besides sharing the strategic directions, we knew that it is a perfect occasion to show gratefulness towards the colleagues who had outstanding results and to motivate the entire team.
The company is part of the insurance industry and is one of the top 3 players on the market, at a national level.
In a world in which authenticity is harder and harder to find, we are on the quest of finding those exceptional people who inspire and surprise us.
How does one become truly exceptional? Each participant of the event was invited to discover the exceptional inside himself or herself and in the people whom they work with.
Therefore, the “Exceptionals” Gala, presented by the two moderators, kept the public connected to the “extraordinary” a whole afternoon, through the online Digital Stage platform. Over 70 live transmissions took place right from the nominalised people’s houses, in an intense marathon that crossed the entire country: Bucharest, Targu-Mures, Cluj, Focsani, Alba Iulia or Deva are some of the cities that connected to the event.
The high engagement rate was supported by the hybrid format of the event (which was done in a studio in the presence of moderators and special guests from the company whilst the audience was joining the event online), as well as by the various interactive elements.
An out-of-the-box surprise were the winner’s endorsers: family members held a speech about their favourite prize-winner. These moments brought to surface tough emotions, especially for the ones who saw their own children at the event.
The prize categories were differentiated through animations. For example, out of the 46 nominees, each colleague’s personality was showcased through a funny avatar. The quizzes and surveys were also remarked, especially the ones inspired from the cinematic world, because they were hosted by a guest from the cinematographic industry.
The success of the event was confirmed by the high stats that showed on the Digital Stage platform. Over 900 people were logged in and almost everyone participated by writing in the chat, whilst over 100 people were active in the surveys.
The empathy and the connection with the organisation’s leaders remained the most important aspects when it comes to team spirit, cohesion, and inspiration.
