The pandemic triggered the process of change and reinvention. The events such as National Sales Conferences became hybrid or online, in a safe and interactive space.
In full rearrangement of the business plan, our client wanted to convey the new strategic directions, as well as the opportunities for growth and development for the year 2021.
This is about a renown and loved company that produces soft drinks, that activated in the FMGC sector.
We created a hybrid event, with a studio setup worthy of famous TV shows. Through this setup we maintained the high energy level of the audience that was online and didn’t give them time to disconnect from what was happening. The National Sales Conference took place over the course of eight hours full of suspense and curiosity.
The concept of the event summed up the attitude of those who emerged victorious from the pandemic and who will always come up victorious, regardless of the circumstances. In this way, we put the winner’s mentality in the centre of attention, which our client’s organizational culture is developing.
The implementation combined an established way of making a National online Sales Conference – with an emphasis on digital content and the inspirational power of the television show – focused on experience and entertainment in 3 distinct formats.
We started the event with a morning format, dedicated to business presentations. We replaced the classic energy of a “welcome coffee” with a powerful and inspirational 2020 retrospective manifesto.
The dynamism was ensured right away from the beginning by the hosts of the “show”, two professional actors, skilled in improvisation and one moderator from within the organization. We also marked an important moment in the history of the company’s most beloved brand – the anniversary of 30 years of presence in Romania.
Through the decor that was strategically placed in the studio, through dynamism and through the second format – talk show – the event was successful. Three mini studios facilitated interactive debates on areas such as HoReCa, Modern Trade and Fragmented Trade, which took the form of free discussions constantly fuelled by questions from the audience. The audience was motivated to get involved with the help of the attractive prizes which constantly awarded.
With a third set-up resembling a “late night-show”, the National Sales Conference carried on with a premiere ceremony for the efforts of the year 2020. We prepared an interactive bartending show for the participants where they learnt to do the “event’s cocktail” with the tunes of a famous cover band in the background, who present on the set.
The same band dedicated a musical intro for each winner chosen by the company and awarded in front of everyone. After the premiere, the participants were invited to join the Microsoft Teams platform in order to connect to an interactive moment, worthy of being in the Guinness World Record book: the entire audience danced on live music, simultaneously.
The end of the show was marked by a rain of confetti that poured over this unique moment of collective strength and optimism, making the employees feel truly connected and allowing them to rejoice the moment together.
